The PROXIDRUGS project leaders Ivan Đikić and Gerhard Hummer are both recognized as highly cited researchers in their fields on Clarivate’s Highly Cited Researchers list.
For the sixth year in a row, PROXIDRUGS speaker Ivan Đikić is recognized for his impact by publishing multiple highly cited papers in even two categories, “Biology and Biochemistry” and “Molecular Biology and Genetics”. PROXIDRUGS project leader Gerhard Hummer is recognized as Highly Cited Researcher for cross-field performance.
Their papers in these fields rank in the top 1% by citations based on Web of Science records from 2012 to 2022.
Although the USA still has the highest concentration of Highly Cited Researchers in the world, this year the Chinese Academy of Sciences holds the global pole position, closely followed by Harvard University which secured the first place in the previous years. A total of 7,125 highly cited researchers worldwide are listed this year, 336 of them based in Germany, ranking Germany fourth.
